The Filler Plug with Female Luer sits in the filling hole in the reservoir recess and provides a seal against the elements as well as a connection for priming, and it allows the system to breathe. The filler plug has a female luer which connects to either the breather assembly in normal use, the lube tube (if this accessory has been added), or the filling spout on the oil to prime the system.
