The “-9” designation indicates a factory-set 0.9mm electrode gap, while the fine iridium centre electrode supports consistent spark performance in modern high-performance motorcycle engines.
As part of the NGK Lazer Iridium range, the IMR8C-9H is designed for superior ignition reliability and long service life. Additional design benefits include superior anti-corrosion and anti-seizing properties, corrugated ribs to help prevent flashover, superior strength and better heat transfer, a copper core to aid heat removal, and triple seals to help prevent leakage.
